Dale Steyn replies to whether RCB will win IPL 2020: The legendary fast bowler conducted a question and answer session in the afternoon.

Veteran South Africa fast bowler Dale Steyn was among the eight players bought by Indian Premier League franchise Royal Challengers Bangalore during the auction conducted in Kolkata on Thursday.

It is as many as the third time when RCB has included the 36-year old bowler into their squad. Steyn, who was brought in as a replacement for injured Australia fast bowler Nathan Coulter-Nile, picked four wickets in two matches at an average of 17.25, an economy rate of 8.62 and a strike rate of 12.

It was a shoulder niggle which not only ruled Steyn out of the match against Kings XI Punjab but also from the tournament and the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019.

Royal Challengers director of cricket Mike Hesson had cited Steyn being injury prone as the reason behind releasing him alongside 11 other players last month.

Representing Cape Town Blitz in the second season of the recently concluded Mzansi Super League, Steyn ended the season as the third-highest wicket-taker on the back of dismissing 15 batsmen at an average of 15.13, an economy rate of 7.09 and a strike rate of 12.8.

As recent as this afternoon, Steyn conducted a question and answer round on his social media platform Twitter. Being asked about if Bangalore will win IPL 2020 or not, Steyn replied with an interesting answer.

I’m there, so, yeah!
